Problem: You decided to make a few changes on your Veeam Backup & Replication Console or this is your first login after installation but you are getting Veeam failed to connect to server error and cannot login to the console.

If you are sure your that username and password are correct then try the following solution:

Open Registry Editor as admin and change the two following registry values to your Veeam’s current host name,

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication\SqlServerName HKLM\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup Catalog\CatalogSharedFolderPath

You might need to restart Veeam host after this.
